The lab's most recent research projects focus on: (i) predicting and better understanding species' and populations' capacity to adapt to anthropogenic disturbances, as well as identifying the traits that facilitate animal survival and persistence in urban environments; and (ii) investigating the venomics and antivenomics of Greek vipers, exploring the adaptive changes in venom composition and analyzing the drivers behind the evolution of their venom.
